CNC lathe is a machine tool that uses computer digital control technology to control the movement and processing process of the lathe. It converts the processing information of parts, such as processing paths, cutting parameters, etc. into electrical signals through the CNC system (CNC), controls the servo motor of the lathe, and drives the workbench, tool holder and other components to accurately move, thereby realizing automatic machining of the workpiece.
Main unit: It is the mechanical part of the CNC lathe, including the bed body, spindle box, tool holder, tail seat, feed mechanism, etc. The bed is the basic component of the lathe, providing stable support and guidance; the spindle box is used to install the spindle to drive the workpiece to rotate; the tool holder is used to install the tool to achieve rapid tool change and precise feeding of the tool; the tailstock can be used to support the other end of the long-axis workpiece.
CNC system: It is the core of CNC lathes and consists of hardware and software. Hardware includes computers, input and output devices, controllers, etc.; software includes system software and application software, which are used to realize various functions of the CNC system, such as interpolation operations, tool compensation, speed control, etc.
Servo system: consists of a servo motor and a servo driver, accepts instructions issued by the CNC system, and accurately controls the movement of each coordinate axes of the machine tool.
Auxiliary devices: including cooling systems, lubrication systems, chip removal devices, protection devices, etc., providing necessary conditions for the normal operation and processing of machine tools.
